Classically trained drummer and percussion director turned music producer/DJ, Shree advances as an artist by bringing musical knowledge that extends beyond his Texas-sized personality.
While studying percussion at the Butler School of Music at the University of Texas, Shree learned the nightlife ropes as a Hip-Hop DJ on 6th Street in Austin, TX from 2010-2013. In 2013, his style shifted to capture influences from Deep House, Nu-Disco and Funk. With original music releases on Nueva Recordings (U.S.A) and 3000 Deep (U.K.), he continues to refine his sound which embraces the fleeting moments of bliss found in our world.
With the goal of sharing unique and personal experiences with the community, Shree has proven that this is more than just music to him, it’s his lifestyle. From managing Dallas artist Black Frames, co-founding an event promotion company (LOLO) and providing stage management duties at both Wobbleland (Dallas) and the North Dallas stop for the spectacular PY1 installation; he remains ever-present in the Texas nightlife industry, bringing his one-of-a-kind personality in tow. Providing key insights into the music business as a whole, he speaks with experts from all aspects of the music industry in his most recent endeavor, a podcast; Shut-Up & Listen. Using his position within the musical enterprise, he has also managed multiple charity events donating $2500+ to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the Dallas Children’s Medical Center.
Shree has performed internationally in Thailand (2020) and Croatia (2018). He is also a mainstay at Texas based dance music festivals Lights All Night (2016, 2018), Something Wonderful (2017) Seismic Dance Event (2018, 2019) and Ubbi Dubbi (2019).
